We will cut a bitch over these shoes!
# 10. Kermit Tesoro – Skull Heel Boots – $600
Kermit Tesoro is a rising fashion design talent from the Philippines who displayed his latest collection which feature among other designs, a pair of skull heels. These shoes are an alabaster finish that integrates a small skull into the heel. The shoes come in variety of styles from straps to suede. These shoes are so deliciously vile that it brings the inner murderer out in us. We love our shoes dark, goth, and evil sometimes bitches! However, we don’t want to look like Marilyn Manson in drag so we recommend pairing these shoes up with something stylish and modern like some Insatiable Art-wear tights, or anything from Alexander McQueen’s fall line.
# 9 Alain Quilici For David Kom – $1,625
Born in Tuscany to a family of cobblers, Alain Quilici has been designing his namesake shoe collection for two years. He creates with form and function in his mind, adding an unexpected third element. The formula, then, goes: form follows function follows VISION. Alain Quilici has built his peculiar aesthetic relying on inspirations as diverse and coherent as the flesh and metal hybrids of Shinya Tsukamoto’s post human cinema, the physical and psychological deformations of David Cronenberg’s movies and the muscular drama of Francis Bacon’s and Egon Schiele’s paintings. Transformation, morphing, evolution are constant themes in his oeuvre. No longer mere Accessories, shoes turn into foot suffix that organically extend and redefine the body, creating a new, seducing brand of anatomy. Whateverzzzzz….these GreyHound boots are freaking HOT!!! We don’t even like dogs and we want to rock these motherz. They would pair up nicely with any of Michael Kors Fall 2012-13 leather outerwear collection. Such at this this coat below:
As usual, Michael Kors’s clothing collection is on point but his shoe game is weaker than an anorexic worm. Could you see these Alain Quilici Greyhound boots with this coat like we can? Can you SEE IT bitches????
# 8 Kermit Tesoro – $1,200
Once again, that genius Filipino with his taste for the dark side brings the fashion heat in his shoe game with these Heelless shoes. Once again, we believe he would pair up just right with Insatiable Art-wear or Alexander McQueen.
# 7. Guo Pei – Geisha Platforms -$5,000
Ohhhhhh Emmmmmm Geeeeeeeee!
We would bang your mother and your father for a pair of these shoes! Sure Mrs. Guo Pei is a total Alexander McQueen knock-off with a Christian Dior swagger. Sure, she is filthy rich although she is supposed to be communist. Sure she is one hypocrisy lined up after another. WHO CARES??? This bitch can design some shoes!!
Although these shoes came out in her 2010 collection? They are so unique and avant garde that they are in fact, timeless. So we would pair these shoes with Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen, or even hot up and coming Philadelphia designer Happy Couture.
# 6. Iris Van Herpen – Fang Shoes – $ 800
Normal rules don’t apply…..
Iris van Herpen stands for a reciprocity between craftsmanship and
innovation in technique and materials.
She creates a new direction of couture that combines fine handwork techniques with futuristic digital technology .
Van Herpen forces fashion to the extreme contradiction between beauty and regeneration. It is her unique way to reevaluate reality and to express and underline individuality.
The essence of van Herpen is expressing the character and emotions of an unique woman and to extend the shape of the feminine body in detail. She mixes craftsmanship- using old and forgotten techniques- with innovation and materials inspired on the world to come.
WE WILL KILL 4 THESE SHOES!!
From the land of legalized marijuana, hashish and prostitutes comes the most innovative in sculptured designed shoes. The fangs themselves are highly creative and original but it’s the materials they are made out of that make us wetter than the Pacific ocean. Sculptured out of fiberglass and carbon based materials. The technology involved in these futuristic platforms are HOT!!
# 5 Gareth Pugh – Armor Booties- $1,800
We just experienced an intense and sexually satisfying SHOEGASM!
Beyonce wore these booties in her Run the world video. If we ever catch that chicka in these boots while we are out? The only thing that bitch is gonna run is straight to the police…barefoot as a motherf*cker!
We recommend these booties with EVERYTHING!!!
# 4 Noritaka Tatehana – Heelless- $15,000
Noritaka Tatehana was born into a family running a public bathhouse, Kabuki-yu, in Kabukicho, an entertainment district located in the center of Tokyo. His father is a president of a company and his mother is an instructor of Waldorf dolls, used in Waldorf or Steiner education. Noritaka was raised in Kamakura, where he initially started making dresses and shoes, all self-taught, when he was 15. He studied Fine Arts and Sculpture at the Tokyo National University of the Arts, later majored in dyeing and weaving. He did a research on “Oiran” or the courtesans of high rank in Edo period (1600-mid 1800). In the meantime, he created kimonos and getas (Japanese clogs) using Yuzen, the traditional Japanese dyeing method. In 2010, he established his own maison, “NORITAKA TATEHANA”. Every step of the manufacturing process of his shoes are handcrafted by the designer himself. Not only are his collection pieces held with admiration in the fashion industry, but they draw attention from the art world as well. His works are widely known to be loved by Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness.
Even if you have to sell yourself on Ebay or if you are fat? You can sell yourself on Craigslist. Do what you have to do or do WHO you gotta do…but get yourself a pair of these shoes!
# 3 – Masaya Kushino – $ 18,000
Lung-ta (‘horse of wind’ in Tibetan), imagines a horse in outrunning like wind. The shoes are made of gold material and hair to express glare like bright light.
We would have his baby for a pair of these shoes! He could literally be our Japanese baby daddy, for a pair of these INCREDIBLE SHOES!!!
The only clothing we could see paired up with these shoes is the Resort wear collection from Savoir De Carnal, 2012 Guo Pei Collection and Alexander McQueen.
# 2. Masaya Kushino – $ 22,000
Chimera (hybrid of different flora and fauna) is the theme of the shoes, motive of animals. In my shoes, the heel part is made of snakes and lions. Cows, rays and sheep’s as material. For the decoration, various animals are fused such as feathers,
Finally new ‘chimera’ of Masaya Kushino’s world is completed wearing by human.
These shoes are almost the epitome of fashion shoes. Not made for broke bitches. These shoes separate those of us who style, and fashion sense and those who don’t. You must have guts and bucks to wear these shoes but it would be worth every penny, if you got it like we do.
Again, these shoes can really only be paired with other advante gard designers such as Savoir De Carnal, Guo Pei , and Alexander McQueen.
# 1. Iris Van Herpen -Crystallization Chain
This S/S 2011 Iris van Herpen x United Nude collection will come in 2 versions of a sculptural high-heeled platform ankle bootie: the first, a complex weave of leather lace detailing; the second, elegantly draped with thin chains.
The intricacy and precision of these creations require them to be 100% hand crafted. Sold in 100 limited edition pairs.
United Nude’s Creative Director Rem D Koolhaas reflected on the collaboration by saying: ‘Working with Iris and being an admirer of her work has been a real pleasure. The result of our collaboration this season is truly about facilitating her captivating work in fashion. Yet in the process the shoe that we together create is a product that stands on its own and gets attention for all the right reasons.’
They only made 100 pairs of these shoes in the entire world. Their rare beauty, intricate hand made designs and craftmanship makes them qualify as pure Advant Garde Haute Couture Art-wear.
Since the are considered Art-wear any way? We recommend pairing them with Art-wear design houses and boutiques. Naturally, we are huge fans of Insatiable Art-wear and Savoir De Carnal. However, NYC has dozens of art-wear designers to choose from. We highly recommend trying these designer out. Sure they cost more. However, if you are lucky enough to afford shoes like this? If you are not a broke bitch? Flaunt it!
